The start of a new year brings optimism and refreshed energy for the future, and also a chance to look back on accomplishments from the previous year. 2012 was a busy year at Arrowstreet. We celebrated the opening of two new charter schools in the Boston metro area, the corporate headquarters for Rechler Equity in Long Island, White Elephant Village Inn in Nantucket, a T-station garage and cool new bridge in Revere, and an LL Bean store in Danbury. The Arrowstreet construction banner was flying high in 2012.

Arrowstreet has always been a leader in sustainability, but this year, we’re really proud that five of our projects were awarded LEED certifications, including three LL Bean stores, a 12-unit apartment building in Amherst called Boltwood Place, and the Rechler Headquarters.

We were also ecstatic to add a bunch of talented architects and designers to our staff. We worked hard, and played hard too.

We’re proud of our work in 2012, but even more excited about what’s on the boards for 2013. Check back with us throughout the year. The new Unum headquarters building opened in Worcester this week, we’re finishing Chestnut Hill Square with a new Wegmans, and we can’t wait to show off the new rock climbing gym we’ve designed!
