Arrowstreet designed a sleek new corporate headquarters for this leading real estate developer. The project renovated a building rich with history – one of the first warehouses built by the company – into a contemporary structure that reflects both the company’s industrial history as well as its high-tech, design-oriented future.
Loosely inspired by an “urban loft” feel, the design features industrial elements such textured wood, burnished metal, exposed beams, and concrete walls reinterpreted to create a sophisticated and polished aesthetic. The design also centers around the Rechler’s extensive art collection, including notable original works from Jackson Pollack and Christo. The work environment is open, and the few enclosed offices are behind glass to create a transparent feel. The new headquarters reflects the firm’s high design standards and the next generation of firm leadership.
