I had my television debut when I appeared on Portland, Maine’s Fox TV local affiliate to present a design for a new movie theater in Freeport, Maine, with Al Yebba of Berenson Associates. Surrounded by bright lights and cameras, and not much else, we were thankful for “Good Day Maine” co-host Erin Ovalle for leading us through the 5 minute interview. It actually was tough to be nervous, as there was nobody else in the studio! Now that I’ve seen what’s on the other side of the camera, I’m really impressed with how television personalities are able to create the illusion that there is so much activity and they are at the center of it all, just by being so upbeat!
