This Morris Lapidus modern classic was plagued with a crumbling precast wall. Rather than simply repair or replace it, Sheraton asked Arrowstreet to look for ways to update the look and identity of the hotel. To kick start the design process, there were two rounds of collaborative design charrettes, providing a wealth of interesting concepts that grew into several discreet schemes. Lighting, materials finishes, and signage were all carefully studied in three dimensions, testing the effectiveness of the designs as viewed from the street below.
