Last week, the Arrowstreet schools team attended its first Cambridge Community Meeting for the kickoff to the feasibility study phase of the King Open/Cambridge Street Upper School Community Complex project. Arrowstreet is part of a team with William Rawn Associates, our neighbors here at 10 Post Office Square, that will design the combined King Open/Cambridge Street Upper Schools. The new facility also includes a new home for the Valente branch library, a community swimming pool, and the potential for CPS administrative offices. The project is planned to be a NetZero energy building that fulfills the needs of students, faculty, administration, and the community. The team appreciates the insightful feedback from those in attendance and looks forward to working together to make this project a success. A summary of the meeting can be found at theĀ Cambridge Community Television website.
