Recently the associates of Arrowstreet were treated to a private tour of the Custom Tower in Boston. Led by a Marriott staff member, the tour included talks about the history and architectural details of the tower, the challenges of building the Custom House in 1847, the addition of the tower in 1915, along with visits to the main rotunda, counting room, observation deck, and behind the scenes of the iconic clock tower. The associates also learned about the challenges of turning the historic Boston landmark into a contemporary and comfortable Marriott Vacation Club destination, complete with 87 luxurious suites. The tour guide also shared stories about the Marriott Custom Tower¹s longest residing guests, the Peregrine Falcons, who have been nesting in the Tower for the past 19 years. You can visit the nest high above Boston and watch the Falcons
