Pearl Pyo and Bridgette Doherty attended a tour hosted by CREW Boston’s Housing & Community Development Committee of 2Life Communities’ Brighton Campus, a standout example of affordable senior housing.
2Life owns, develops, operates, and provides supportive services that allow residents to enjoy the benefits of community regardless of income. They intentionally create spaces that encourage conversation, gardening, art, and staying active. Most of all, they give seniors the opportunity to age with purpose and joy. The tour group even met one CREW member’s mother, who is a resident, and has found a true sense of belonging there.
The 10-year waiting list speaks to the success of 2Life’s thoughtful approach, but also reflects the growing demand for affordable, high-quality senior housing!
