Our team at Arrowstreet partnered with Run the Gamut to design their first training center, delivering the project from concept to opening in just seven months. The 10,000 SF facility is dedicated to supporting autistic young adults as they prepare for what’s next—transitioning into independent living and meaningful employment.

Designed as a supportive and immersive environment, the center prioritizes real-world skill building, fosters a strong sense of community, and empowers each individual with confidence as they navigate new experiences and opportunities.

Signage and wayfinding were developed to provide clarity, consistency, and calm—key elements in helping users move through the space independently. A cohesive visual language, rooted in the Run the Gamut brand and interior design, uses soft-edged forms and clean, highly legible typography to support a wide range of sensory and cognitive needs.

Environmental graphics act as moments of encouragement and identity throughout the space, reinforcing Run the Gamut’s mission while energizing the environment with dynamic color and affirming messaging. Large-scale wall graphics highlight phrases that inspire students as they move between spaces, including “Why fit in, when you were born to stand out?”—a message that reflects both the organization’s ethos and the confidence the center is designed to cultivate.
