Harborlights, a joint venture between Legal Sea Foods and Live Nation, was envisioned to transform Wharf 8 / Pier 7 to create a visually exciting floating event space capable of hosting world-class performances and private functions with exceptional culinary and beverage services. Taking maximum advantage of the site’s waterfront location, the development proposed a water transportation hub to improve public transit options and connectivity, as well as an extension of the Harborwalk to a floating park at the end of the former pier. A docking facility helps meet the demand for boat space on Boston Harbor.
