This mixed-use, transit-oriented project located on an 8-acre site outside of Washington, D.C. includes ground-level and anchor retail, an 11-story office tower, 433 housing units in a 15-story building, a community center, and a 1-acre public park. A key element of Arrowstreet’s design was the relocation of an existing department store from a corner location at the entrance of the site to an equally prominent and visible location within the site that faces a public plaza. Shoppers are now drawn past new, street-level shops and into the public plaza and department store at the heart of the complex.
