Arrowstreet’s Interior Design Studio curated art selections, selected amenity space furniture, and designed two model units plus a Kid’s Room at Vyv in Jersey City, NJ.

Art Selection & Curation

By providing specialized consultation and curatorial direction, Arrowstreet’s design team was able to thoughtfully translate the lifestyle brand and design aesthetics of Vyv. Each collection of artworks strengthens both the spatial character and project vision in order to make a meaningful statement. One of the highlights for us was the selection of the art work for the amenity spaces; Arrowstreet incorporated local artists work including Stanley Casselman from Mana Contemporary.

Furniture Selection

Arrowstreet developed a comprehensive furniture package for the amenity spaces at Vyv. The furniture selections and fabric pairings are meant to evoke creativity and inspire the productivity of residents who are using these spaces to work remotely, while also reinforcing the lifestyle brand of Vyv.

Model Units

Arrowstreet designed two model rooms to appeal to the urban-oriented young professional. The design for the model units capitalizes on views of the New York City skyline with wood tones, metal accents, and graphic wall art evoking city living. The contemporary furniture is simple yet sophisticated, establishing clean, minimalist lines that make for a dynamic contrast with selective use of deeply saturated accent colors, modern accessories, and a statement ochre wall.

Kid’s Room

Arrowstreet’s Interior Design and Graphic Design Studios collaborated on this space to create a truly unique environment for the children at Vyv. A floor-to-ceiling geometric mural depicting a giraffe and bear bring a contemporary yet playful vibe to the recreational space.
