The grand opening of the Phase 1 renovations of the BPL’s Central Library took place on Saturday, February 21st. Arrowstreet Graphic Design served as the signage and environmental graphic consultants to William Rawn Associates. We had so much fun creating the wall graphics in the Children’s Room (including the illustrations that inspired the brownstones built by Mystic Scenic Studios and the book birds produced by Design Communications Ltd.) and decorating Teen Central. Throughout the design process, we were always discussing how we envisioned children experiencing these spaces, and seeing it come to life this past Saturday was better than we could have imagined.
