21 Charles is a thoughtfully designed residential development that responds to Malden’s growing housing demand while introducing mass timber construction to the city.

The project is located near the Malden Center MBTA station, providing residents with access to both the Commuter Rail and the Orange Line. This central location fosters a highly walkable lifestyle, placing the diverse restaurants, retail, and professional services of the Malden Central Business District within easy reach.

The new design features 71 modern residences, including a mix of studios and one- and two-bedroom units. Residents will have access to a spacious top-floor amenity suite offering views of the Boston skyline. On the ground level, the design features exposed mass timber construction, creating a warm and natural aesthetic for the building’s commercial spaces. This floor also features a functional thru-lobby that connects the streetscape to a convenient parking area located behind the building.
