Located along the river walk in revitalized downtown Providence, this unique, urban shopping center dramatically bridges rail lines and the Woonasquatucket River. The size of the project, as well as the complexity and prominence of the site, made it a challenging design and construction undertaking. The 1.25-million-square-foot retail center features three anchor stores, including New England’s first Nordstrom, and two theaters (a state-of-the-art stadium multiplex and an IMAX). In addition, the complex contains 150 stores and space for 4,000 cars on ten levels of parking. Storefront retail adds life to the pedestrian environment that leads to the historic State House.
