Waffles at Women’s Lunch Place

On a cold and sunny Saturday morning a group of ASTers met up at The Women’s Lunch Place (WLP) on Newbury Street. Arrowstreet is currently assisting WLP with a renovation and modernization of their space so we thought it would be a great time to get some people down to the shelter to volunteer and to see how the space functions. Annual Turkey Drive

Every November, Arrowstreet runs our annual turkey drive to raise money for students of few of Somerville’s local schools. We have collected donations to buy turkeys for the students of The Next Wave / Full Circle schools and The Argenziano school. One of the most successful ways we have raised money is by asking employees to contribute the change they get back from buying lunch every day which doesn’t seem like much but adds up quickly…
